    Calcium Gluconate Injection : commonly used to treat

    calcium deficiencies and support heart and muscle function

    Product Name

    Daehan Calcium Gluconate Injection

    Efficacy

    Treatment of tetany or related symptoms caused by hypocalcemia
    Treatment of hyperkalemia

    Dosage and Administration

    Adults: Inject 0.4–2 g of calcium gluconate intravenously at a rate of 0.68–1.36 mEq/min.
    Dosage may be adjusted depending on the patient’s age and symptoms.

    Precautions

    For intravenous use only.
    Administer slowly.
    Rapid intravenous injection may cause serious adverse effects, including tachycardia, bradycardia, blood pressure fluctuations, fever, arrhythmia, and cardiac arrest.
    Care must be taken to prevent leakage of the solution outside the vein, especially in newborns and infants.
